This course is an honors introduction to anthropology--a discipline which seeks to understand human nature and the broad implications of social interaction.

Anthropologists study societies with a humanistic interest in their cultures and customs that they hope will ultimately lead to a greater appreciation and acceptance of the diversity of human societies.The course covers how cultures are studied and other basic anthropological concepts.
