In August of 2002, the UAF Station of the Arkansas Archeological Survey conduced two days of mapping and archeological excavation at the Peel Mansion in Bentonville, Arkansas. Excavations concentrated on the small brick building just 4.5 meters west of the southwest corner of the Peel Mansion.

The Peel Foundation wanted to know what the structure was and what period of the house's life it dated to before proposed renovations on the structure could begin. Click on the links below to find out more.
