Feature 21:Van Winkle's Road

"This double track 'path' was designated by Benton County as the "Huntsville Road" in 1858. It was used by Major Van Dorn during his retreat from Pea Ridge and later served as a major commercial road from Pea Ridge to Madison and Carroll Counties and between Rogers and Eureka Springs."
